Introduced at the 1894 British Commonwealth Championship in Bisley, England, the Bisley Target Model was a new version of the iconic 1873 SAA, with longer grip frame, target-style grips, and a wider hammer. The Bisley's popularity soared among target shooters and lawmen because of its speed and accuracy. Over 40,000 were made between 1894 and 1915.

Now, Uberti is bringing the legendary Pistol into the modern age. The Bisley Target Model boasts a level of fit and finish that only modern manufacturing can provide -- but the feel and detailing give it the look of a fine family heirloom. All frames are color case-hardened, and the grip is beautiful 2-Pc. walnut. The grip - though unsightly to the casual observer - feels wonderful in the hand, and cannot truly be appreciated until you point it downrange. For competition and Cowboy Action, you can't beat it.
