The X-Bolt Stalker Long Range might not be flashy, but it flat-out performs…in any weather, at any range, on any hunt. Designed for the hardcore deer, elk and sheep hunter, its combination of free-float accuracy, superior durability and outstanding trigger gives you everything you need to punch your tag in the most rugged, unforgiving environments you could face.

It starts with a steel receiver that is glass bedded within the stock. Glass bedding is a time-consuming process, but it's worth it because it creates an exact match between the action and stock—and because it free-floats the barrel. Free-floated barrels are inherently more accurate because they are allowed to vibrate, flex and move freely within the stock, WITHOUT interference from contact points.

The X-Bolt's sporter-profile heavy barrel is hand-chambered for precise headspacing—again, a time-consuming process, and one that other rifle manufacturers often skip—which provides superior accuracy and shot-to-shot consistency. It comes topped with the all-new Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil up to 76%…keeping you on-target for follow-up shots.

But all that accuracy doesn't mean a thing if the trigger lets you down. To that end, the X-Bolt comes standard with the 3-lever Feather Trigger™ that provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up or creep and minimal overtravel. The trigger is screw-adjustable from 3 to 5 lbs., and is highly polished on all critical contact surfaces.

Its synthetic stock with Dura-Touch Armor is built tough for taking on rough terrain and is perfect for hunting in less-than-ideal weather conditions. With an inch of comb adjustment, it's easy to get the ideal cheek weld. And the InFlex recoil pad softens felt recoil.
