Browning guns that bear the name "Micro Midas" combine the deluxe features you expect in an X-Bolt with compact dimensions—creating a high-performance firearm that's perfect for users of all sizes. The stock is shorter for fast shouldering and comfortable trigger reach. The 20" barrel balances well with the steel receiver and makes it easy to swing on target.

Of course, it's still an X-Bolt at its core. And like all X-Bolts, it starts with a steel receiver that is glass bedded within the stock. Glass bedding is a time-consuming process, but it's worth it because it creates an exact match between the action and stock—and because it free-floats the barrel. Free-floated barrels are inherently more accurate because they are allowed to vibrate, flex and move freely within the stock, WITHOUT interference from contact points.

But all that accuracy doesn't mean a thing if the trigger lets you down. To that end, the X-Bolt comes standard with the 3-lever Feather Trigger™ that provides a clean, crisp pull with no take-up or creep and minimal overtravel. The trigger is screw-adjustable from 3 to 5 lbs., and is highly polished on all critical contact surfaces.

This model has all the same features as the full-size model. Nothing is sacrificed because of its smaller dimensions.
