This Brooklyn Armed ForcesTM Base Layer Shirt is a close recreation of the legendary base layer originally used in the U.S. Military's ECWS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System). A versatile under-layer for hiking, hunting, or any other outdoor adventure.
The quarter-button "Wallace Beery" version of this Shirt was originally issued in the Vietnam-era, but the name itself comes from the famous actor of the 1930s. One of the first "under shirts" and often clearly visible when worn under other layers, Beery wore the design in many of his western, gangster, and boxing genre films.
