British Military Surplus Cotton Skivvies, 20 Pack, New is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Foreign Parachutist from correct sizeAfter reading the other reviews I ordered a size large. All 20 pairs were dated 1953 and marked 38. The waist measured 38 inches. I was expecting a smaller size (32-34). I gave them a hot wash and dry and by using the waist ties they snugged up to a medium.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hendre from Authentic & high quality dead stock from 1951 but run very SMALL: beware! These are unusual and authentic long-line, full-cut, yoke-front boxers--possibly intended for use in hot climates as they are made from a fine cotton, almost voile or lawn material--extremely thin and fine finish-with flexible rubber buttons. The boxers from my bale of 20 are all marked 1951 and Belfast (presumably the site of manufacture or supply depot). I like everything about these but the sizing (mine are marked "3")-- no way are these the advertized XL, I cannot even fasten them in the front, let alone use the adjustable tape ties at either side to fine tune the fit. My usual size would be 36 to 38 depending upon fabric, cut, style, sizing , and I would guess these are a size Medium. If you can find the right size for your frame you will have some marvelous, period drawers, which, I suspect, will wear and wash well and only get better with time. High quality goods from a bygone era, just running extremely small based upon the sizing description provided by Sportman's Guide.
