Bond Arms® BullPup 9mm Semi-automatic Pistol
Utilizing a perfected version of reverse-feed technology, the Bond Arms® BullPup features the longest barrel possible in a pocket-sized carry piece, delivering superior ballistics, superior handling, top accuracy, and the lowest felt recoil in its size class! To put it in perspective, it's a full inch shorter than the Glock 43—while having just about the same barrel length. That's the power of the bullpup design.
So how does it work? In the BullPup Pistol's magazine, the cartridge is loaded with the projectile facing rearward. As the slide moves to the rear of the firearm, it strips the round out the back of the magazine. The cartridge is then lifted into the bolt face, and as the slide returns to its resting position, is pushed straight into the chamber…effectively eliminating the need for a feed ramp and keeping the bore axis as low as possible.
The BullPup operates via a locked-breech, short-recoil design with a rotating barrel…which helps to spread recoil out over a longer period of time, so it doesn't punch all at once. Bond Arms has also tightened up the chamber, reducing out-gassing and directing more pressure to the projectile-increasing velocity. As with all Bond Arms firearms, the BullPup was subjected to extensive testing and evaluation to smooth out the mechanics. As a result, Bond Arms has supplied an approved ammo list. See below for that info.
PLEASE NOTE: The reverse-feed design requires ammo with a certain style of crimp. See approved ammo for information.
