Beretta® 92X Centurion 9mm Semi-automatic Pistol

The original Beretta 92 served with distinction as the US Military's service pistol for almost 30 years, delivering unflinching durability in some of the worst operating environments in the world. But…it wasn't perfect. Some shooters found the grip to be too large. Some didn't like the slide-mounted safety. Some didn't like the sights or the barrel.

The all-new Beretta 92X Centurion takes the proven durability of the 92/M9 platform—and perfects the recipe in almost every way. Gone is the bulky grip frame, replaced by Vertec-style thin grips with a straight backstrap that fits most shooters' hands perfectly. But for those who preferred the arched backstrap of the original, Beretta was thoughtful enough to include a larger wraparound grip that fits larger hands better.

Gone is the slide-mounted safety, replaced instead with a decocker. If, for some reason, you prefer the safety, you can order those components from Beretta and swap the decocker out for a safety. The 4.25" barrel comes chrome-lined and target-crowned from the factory, so it's more accurate out of the box than the original. And the combination of beveled magazine well and oversized extended magazine release make reloads faster and easier under pressure than ever before. Includes Red-dot optic ready slide (optics plate not included).

Completing the package, the 92X Centurion features an enhanced combat trigger and dovetailed front sight that can easily be replaced. Even better, most components are compatible with 92FS and later models, including the trigger, so you have decades of aftermarket support. Add it all up, and you're looking at a pistol that beats its predecessor in every way.
