At just 5.7" long and 8 ounces, the Armasight® Sidekick is the smallest multi-functional 12-micron Thermal Monocular on the market. It tucks neatly into your coat pocket, but delivers big-time capability—even when thermal contrast is low. Powered by the premium ArmaCORE 640x480 sensor and boosted by Image Enhancement Technology, the Sidekick 640 provides an amazingly detailed view of the landscape in your choice of color palettes via the 1024x768 OLED display. The unit boasts a best-in-class 60Hz frame rate for smooth operation to go along with its stunning visual acuity, while in-display iconography provides key information on your surroundings.
The Sidekick operates via simple 3-button controls, providing easy navigation of the unit's many features like 1-4x digital zoom and color palette swaps. On-board memory allows the unit to collect both still images and up to 4 hours of video, and can even stream via the USB-C output.
The Sidekick is made in America to Armasight's stringent quality standards using globally sourced components. It features a premium ULTEM advanced composite body and ergonomic design, and is 100% waterproof to IP67 industry standards to keep you in the action, even when conditions are less than ideal. Its small size allows the Sidekick to easily ride in a pocket or MOLLE pouch, but it can also be mounted on your head or helmet utilizing the built-in mini rail. It may be less than 6" long, but the Sidekick delivers outsized thermal performance for the demanding operator or hunter.
