Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very please Nice product, work good in pitch black area, crisp picture. Main thing knowing how to use IR an F stock setting together with zoom. At max F stock setting you have to scan slower. Very please with unit, have a buddy is ordering one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointing I thought it was a good price but you get what you pay for in this case. The view was poor and I could not see much through it as it was far from sharp or clear. Unless you were very close (50' or under) to what you wanted to see. I tried to look at a distance of about 75 yards and it was difficult to make out a LARGE tree. I sent it back to SG which was very easy to do. Thank you Sportsman Guide.

It worked somewhat okay in my back yard but took awhile for images to clear up and wasn't really intuitive to use. Directions could have been a lot better. I did like it takes AA batteries. The issue is that in a forest area, this just does not do well at all. Even in the 3x setting, the field of view is small and things are so magnified you just can't see anything well close up. At a distance, it's hard to scan around since all the foreground items blast into your face very brightly. Yes...you can see things out 100 yards, but trying to find what you want to look at is exceedingly difficult in a wooded setting. Maybe in an open field this would be okay. I found that pretty much within 50 yards and beyond 75 yards, this was pretty useless in woods. It went back. Not sure I'll try something else...unless it's only a 1x or 2x. The magnification kills it entirely. 100% not good for using to walk into your hunting spot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I haven't had the chance to take this out and test it in the woods or fields but around the house with street lights to interfere, my neighbor and I could make out his house at about 70 yards away. So I'm pleased with the xGen Pro Monocular.
