Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Merrell shoes for women Bought black in 9-1/2 to replace a pair of same style - in a 9 - purchased 2007. Bought 1/2 size up because my feet have "settled" and I wear a larger size than in 2007. The old pair was very snug in the mouth of the shoe. Almost too snug, but it did stretch. This new pair, the mouth of the shoe is very loose (I have narrow heels anyway)...so I added the purple and white ProFoot molded foam insert, and it makes quite a difference in the heel area. Note: did not remove the existing insole. This insert is one of my go-to's to make any shoe more comfortable. IMO, they are as good as orthotics. If the inside footbed of a shoe is too hard, these ProForm inserts will make the shoe feel wonderful without adding lots of bulk. In winter, with socks, it should fit even better. What I like about this shoe is that the shoe is made from a webbing instead of leather. It keeps feet nicely ventilated, but I still wear them in winter because they are so very comfortable. Has Merrell QForm footbed, too, for women. Once you find a nice-fitting pair of Merrells, you'll never wear anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L-O-V-E these shoes I have about 8 pair of this same shoe - 4 in black and 4 in tan - they are about all I wear for work. They are super comfortable, lightweight - and, the best part they let your feet breathe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes are very nice. At first, I didn't think I could wear them since I almost need a wide, but after removing the insoles and putting a gel insole in, they will work. And the color is great. To me, it is more of a dark tan than a taupe. A much better price than on some other shoe websites! Nice sturdy shoe. I would definitely order again. But, if you need wide, these won't work since they do not stretch at the instep. And the sizing is true.
