Rated 4 out of 5 by from Supplies are limited. Ordered my spare after the riots in Baltimore. This is a great product for an Honest cop or trusted citizen. Ordered this after the second round of riots in Baltimore in case i have to flee Baltimore the next time around. The police were late being sent out during the riots because they didnt not have proper riot gear. In my opinion these are way better than nothing and better than a metal helmet. Sportsman guide also sells goggles. The neighbor loves it. Both helmets i got had some minor chips in the glare reflective coating were damaged. This can be fixed with some elmers and some sand and than the helmets can be repainted. The second helmet came with a upgraded suspension system value $45 and they sell them here 3 for 10. I like the upgraded suspension system over the donut. By the time you upgrade these there more like a Mich than a PASGT. Be aware that these are limited by restrictions to American Citizens who are not convicted felons and these can not be transferred outside the US.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kevlar US Helmet I am pleased w the quality and price. I would buy new helmet nuts for the inside suspension of straps if available, and also replacement chin strap if you had it. Thanx Again! Marlin

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value for the price for PASGT kevlar helmets Both arrived in fair to good condition, some wear but that would be normal with surplus items. I have already ordered and received the ACH upgrade kits to make them more useful. Total cost with upgrade about $140 which is still less than half what other venders sell these for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's "used", alright... I understand that it is a surplus helmet. I understand that it will show signs of long- term storage. However, this particular helmet is not even in "good" shape, much less "like new". The sweat band is NASTY/MOLDY, but that's ok... I'll order the replacement set (good deal). The chin strap is not the style pictured and it is worn out and in tatters. I don't know yet how I will replace that. All of the snaps are corroded to the point that they can't be used. I would return the helmet but it would end up costing to much to fool with, because I would probably just get another helmet in the same sorry shape. I think the photo of the product should be accurately representative of the product so that customers would know ahead of time what to expect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not too bad. The PASGT helmet I got was in fair shape at best. It has a couple of dings in it that are showing fiber, but nothing penetrating below the first layer. According to the manual, it's still serviceable. If you plan on wearing this helmet, you want to upgrade the suspension right off the bat. If nothing else replace the web with a mesh suspension kit, they have them here. I recommend a complete upgrade to a pad set and replacing the chin strap with a four point. There are several companies out there that offer these kits. Not a bad price for the PASGT helmet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used, very much surplus! The condition of the Surplus Kevlar helmet was just as described, surplus. The "some minor wear" was more than minor but typical for being used, it looks like it was dropped, kicked and rolling around the floor of a Hum-v for a few weeks. Has the look and feel of a veteran helmet. Glad I also purchased the new liner and suspension kit, it needed it. It was worth the price, you get what you pay for.
