I wanted another pair of boots like the ones I was issued while I was in the Navy. These boots are exactly the same type that I wore from November,1958, to November, 1959, while I spent a year wintering over in Antarctica, during Operation Deepfreeze IV. The only difference is the boot laces. These boots have round laces and the boots I still have from 1958 have flat laces.

We ordered a pair of military surplus "bunny boots" for my son. He lives in a different state so I have seen only a picture texted to me. He says they are in good gently used condition. Unfortunately one of the eyelets pulled out because it was put in to near the edge and we will need to try to have a repair made. This is a manufacture defect and no fault of SG. SG makes it clear when items are 'used' surplus so provided you are realistic in your expectations you should be pleased as we are.

These boots are almost new, and in excellent condition, with only a little staining from storage that washed off easily. I tried them in +10F weather for six hours with one pair of wool socks and was warm and comfortable the whole time. I might mention that the valves are not intended for inflation, but to equalize pressure when changing altitude.

They looked brand new, very little wear. Laces were new , had to lace up to boots. I wear a mens 13 in shoes but a 12 n had plenty of room inside.Boots made in Canada,

This was a great deal! These boots were slightly used but in terrific shape. I wear a size 9 1/2, so I got the next full size up as recommended, so I got size 10. It was a great fit and cozy. It was a great buy. Thanks S.G.
