Rated 4 out of 5 by from BATTERED I have bought a few pairs of the "used" snowshoes b4 and they were generally in decent condition. NOT this pair. One had a tail with hunks missing, some cables were worn almost through (wouldn't last long) and one had a cable worn completely through and busted. JUNK! I returned them for a refund, which SPORTSMANS GUIDE is ALWAYS VERY good about. That is one of the main reasons I shop with SPORTSMANS GUIDE, no questions asked...just return for refund. You can't beat that service. Although this pair was disappointing, I have bought a couple other pairs of "used" magnesium shoes and they were always in decent condition so I cannot say I wouldn't recommend them, just got one bad pair. Other times they were fine. Luck of the draw I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These shoes are light weight and durable. I always put my own ratchet type harness on. Have bought numerous pairs of these snowshoes. The price is right

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plenty cold but not much snow yet, so haven't had a chance to try these out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Yes the description states used, however I expected them to be a matching set, not two snowshoes from different sets, and dates of manufacture. Generally they look similar color is off, paint is flaking, and they cable weave pattern is even pattern. Overall the product works like it is supposed to. The directions for the bindings installation is basic and pretty much worthless. Search on YouTube and you can find a video for putting on the bindings or by a some updated bindings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the second time we have purchased two sets of these snowshoes. They are the best deal on snow. These are military surplus. You might get a pair that have never been used, or a pair that are beat up. The overall performance is the same. For what you pay for a good pair of bindings, you get two pair of shoes with bindings. We have logged many miles on these snowshoes over a period of three seasons and have been nothing short of satisfied.
