Used U.S. Military Surplus Hardigg 44x24x18 Case is rated 3.8333 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to transport AR-15's If you have a number of AR-15 rifles all going to the same place then these are the shipping containers for you. These will hold and ship 12 rifles with barrels up to 20 inches long. They work best with carry handle equipped rifles, but can be used with slim profile full float tubes as well. They are sturdy and you can lock the rifles in place.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Little rough I ordered this to help me keep better organized with my airsoft collection. The description lists this case as used but it really doesn't give an accurate picture of what that means. Two of the hinges were broken and the body had significant scrapes and gashes. None of these were structural, mostly cosmetic. One of the frames that lock the bracing crossbars was missing, so I can only secure rifles on one side of the case. The box was also filthy. I spent 2 hours scrubbing it and sanding down burrs before I painted it black to help make it look a little better. I even had to clean off an old spider nest.Overall the quality of the item wasn't amazing, but I'm still happy with what I got. It took some effort to get it looking good but it still functions and will hold all my stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy Heavy and large. Like others say....made for M-16s. My guess is A2-A4s. won't work with scopes attached.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Special purpose box This box was molded to hold many standard issue M-16's with no-optics. The internal supports must be cut out to make the box more useable. It's a large box that could be packed with items that will fit between the supports, but could get very heavy easily. I'm removing the supports from the top layer to allow scoped AR's to be stored within. It's a long process to remove the supports but could result in a mini-safe when finished; we'll see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Added Bonus ! ! ! Maybe I Just Got Lucky,My case just arrived via Fed-ExTo my supprise when I opened the case for inspection,I got an added bonus of 1 dozen M-16 Magazines...The Case itself is as advertised, well used. All latches are inplace and in working order. This is a very large and very heavy duty weapons travel case, not good for much else but to store & transfer your tactical rifles...BUT BE ASSURE, IT'S ALMOST INDESTRUCTABLE...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The case was really dirty, but cleaned up well. No broken parts or damage besides handling wear and tear. Overall the case was better than expected (once I cleaned it up). As stated, The inside of the case is designed for a very specific purpose, to securely hold mil spec AR style rifles. While other rifles may or may not fit, I wouldn't buy it if you plan to use it for any other purpose besides that.
