Used U.S. Military Surplus .50 cal. Ammo Can is rated 4.1377 out of 5 by 472.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Condition ! This is the best set of ammo cans I've received from SG. Not a spot of rust on them, a few small dents, but otherwise incredible condition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Price Good condition, good air tight lid seal. Latches work good. Have bought these on several orders as usual exceed our expectations. Will buy more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I'm satisfied. A few small dings, minor rust (easily cleaned off) washed them off and put them to use. Seals are solid and they arrived prompty. Can't complain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mistake buy, new cans would have been a better deal These ammo cans were in bad shape and supposed to be waterproof and one can had no rubber seal at all

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Rusted! Required a hammer and plenty of WD-40 just to open.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusted out ammo cans Very dissatisfied with the three ammo cans that I received, They came to me with a lot of rust and dirt. I had to remove the rust and then purchase spray paint to bring them back. I'll never order these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Beat This I buy a fair number of these, for both ammo and general (incl. electronics) storage. SG's prices are hard to beat (esp. with the numerous "free shipping" specials). The .50 cal. box is the best, general purpose storage container - not too small, but not too heavy when full. As with all surplus, condition is highly variable, from excellent to "pretty dodgy" - I routinely rehab all of mine to my own specs (rubberized bottoms and interiors, stripped to metal and repainted, etc)., so I'm not too picky as long as the piece can be made serviceable and, thus far, they've all been. Recently, however, SG's been sending me absolutely new, unissued, totally pristine ones, at a price which would be cheap for used and abused. Can't beat that deal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from VERY Used I have purchased the used surplus ammo cans from SG before and have been very satisfied. However, my most recent purchase didn't measure up to the value I expect. This time the can looked like it had been left out in the weather... VERY RUSTY! I understand they're used, but this one should have been tossed. Just luck of the draw, I guess, and I drew a bad one this time. Because I have received good ones before, I will probably try my luck again. Maybe get a good one next time.
