Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like most...but dirtier Typically buy these at local gun shows, with varied results. This can has a good seal and decent paint, but had to be wiped down with a damp rag before putting any ammunition in it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty Rough Can The ammo can I received was pretty rough. It was rusted shut and the seals stuck. I did make it useful by a lot of cleaning and a new coat of paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for 50 Cal. Ammo can I purchased a 30 and 50 caliber U.S.Military used Ammo cans. They are water sealed and work excellent for storage of new ammo purchased as well as my reloaded shells. I also use a perment marker to write the contents inside each Can. Excellent price and perfect to store ammo for a long period of time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Shape Ammo can was in good shape. You can tell it has been used, but definitely in usable condition.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Structure was good, bit of rust.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The can did have rust on it and a quickie spay paint job on part of the can, but the lid was a tight fit and the rubber gasket was in great shape. Over all it will serve its purpose just fine if your not worried about good looks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As the wars wind down and inventories of these things get depleted, the ammo boxes are showing more problems - dents, dings, rust, etc. This last order of boxes was singularly dirty - the boxes looked like they'd rolled around in the surf somewhere and one was filled with a substantial amount of sand, but, for the most part they were sound and salvageable (and I routinely strip 'em down to bare metal and then repaint them and rubberize the insides and bottom). Still a good deal.
