Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got this for a great price This kit is awesome, exactly what I wanted. Too bad it it discontinued, I would probably order another one for this price. Butt plate is cracked from over-tightening the screw but has no effect on performance and I have never seen one of this vintage that wasn't cracked. Bring them back for $359.95.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Junk!! I purchased three of these kits hoping to be one of the lucky ones that you read about in the reviews section. All three kits fall into the disappointed category!!! Busted, broken, beat-down, mismatched, rusted, missing parts, mud, sand, gunked-up and close to unusable. Hmmm, the only parts that were in good shape were the fire control group, which I sent to the trashcan because I don’t have the appropriate paperwork. So, expect to replace it all if you’re one of the unfortunate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great start for M16A1 replica rifle I received my parts kit quickly and mostly intact. A quick inventory showed that one of the taper pins for the front sight was missing, as well as one of the fire control pins. These parts are not really that important, since you will probably be using a new barrel and FCG parts anyway. All the other parts were in excellent to very good condition. Prepare yourself to do some cleaning of the parts, as they have a gritty, dirty feel to them. This should not be a surprise to anyone who has ordered a parts kit such as this one. None of the parts on my kit were unserviceable, and went together quickly and easily. I would not hesitate to purchase one of these kits again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Kit The M-16 parts kit was as expected. Everything was in good shape except some dings on the hand guards, and the charging handle. The hand guards were missing some plastic at the vent holes and the charging handle was missing the latch. The kit was missing the pins that hold the trigger and hammer assembly. The completed rifle functions and looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cheapest m16 parts kit i could find i think mine was only about $300 when i bought it and everything was in great shape even the hand guards where intact and the customer service was up to par when i was missing a part, they sent me another parts kit and let me just pick out the part i needed, now im assuming they sent me a bad kit to pick parts out of because it was really busted up so the quailty may range greatly on these things but mine was wonderful

Rated 3 out of 5 by from About what I was expecting First off, a WARNING!The auto sear is included. You can NOT legally own one without a class III from BATFE. My gunsmith is class III certified so I just gave it to him and in fact he was the one who noticed the part online and warned me. I don't know much about gun guts and would have been in the dark. I suppose you could also throw it away or kill it with a hammer, but I would not advise keeping it.I'm honestly shocked that they are sold when a simple inspection by ATF will land you in JAIL with that part in your possession.Other than that, the parts I received appeared worn, but serviceable. Very dirty, with packing grease and heavy wear, but should work for spares.
