Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent quality, good price and metal beats plastic. The two .30 caliber cans I purchased had a couple scrapes in the finish that did not effect function. Seams were tight and well constructed. The rubber seal was correct, and should last many years with a light coat of oil occasionally to keep it from cracking. I have an original Army .30 caliber can to compare it to, and the gauge of metal is close on the ones Sportsman's Guide is selling, but the OD green finish is thinner and a brighter green color. For some jobs I prefer the smaller cans to .50 caliber ammo cans, which can be too heavy to move frequently when fully loaded. I was able to fit 220 rounds of .30-06 Springfield ammunition, with the rounds in metal Garand clips, without any difficulty. There is room to spare and I likely could fit 300 loose .30-06 rounds in one. Perfect for going to the range. I have no sense it is bulging or overloaded or ready to burst like the plastic cans sometimes do. Overall a great buy, especially if shipping is free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USED BUT LIKE NEW I've purchased a few of these used cans from the Guide over the years and I've been satisfied with them all, but this can was the best of the bunch. The can was clean and appeared almost new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real Deal Can't beat genuine military surplus. The seals are in great condition and the condition is military surplus, that is, a few marks here and there. Stencils are bold and bright on mine.
