Used U.S. M14 Walnut Stock is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value! Although the stock I received showed a lot of wear (small gouges and many dents) it looks absolutely at home on my Socom 16.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from M-14 Stock The stock I received was a little rough on the finish but after taking some cleaner to it came out really nice. Thanks SG for a great stock at a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! When I bought my M1A in 2013, all that was available was the basic rifle with the black composite stock, which was fine, but I really wanted wood. The price, condition and patina on this M14 GI takeoff stock absolutely hit this one out of the park. I can't wait to install it! Thanks Sportsman's Guide!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected I bought the stock to salvage the butt plate, liner and swivels to use on a new stock, but the condition of the stock is actually quite good. There's some minor scratches and build up of oil on the surface , but overall it's OK.The proof marks are light and might indicate that it was sanded sometime in the past. Overall for the price it's a steal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from American history Just purchased an M1A with an archangel composite stock but did not like. I purchased one of these stocks. It was back ordered but arrived 2 weeks early. It Was filthy, took a scrubby pad and oil soap to it. After 3 scrubbings and 2 coats of lemon oil it looks beautiful. A true piece of americana

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Solid Received stock early. Yesterday. It ain't quite like the picture, but it is SOLID.. grungy, 3 VERY shallow surface finish scuffs no more than stain deep. Only one ding I easy sweated out with an iron last night. SLIGHT rust on outside boundary of plate on Op-rod side which came off easy w/some KG Solvent though will eventually re-park it. Liner actually looks NOS. DAS and Proof UNMOLESTED CRISP. Ferrule has half-moon crimp making it either Win, Sykes, or Spriner according to Lee Emerson's book. I thought this would maybe be me practice run before bedding me Big 'Nut, but NOT so. Going to use Soy stripping process followed by 3-4 Tung Oil stains wanting new/As Issued look. After probably some 55 odd Birthdays not too mention carried by an American Fighting Man, I'm glad to have it. Won't take much and will have lots of making this look as good as one of Fred's nicer ones and worthy of the finest Main Battle Rifle ever built. And less the wait too.
