Rated 3 out of 5 by from These were bought as gifts.its a little hard to use snowshoes in the middle of summer haha

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made for heavy usage. For the money these are the best all around snowshoe. I bought a used pair three years ago and they are well tested up here in Northern Maine, get a better pair of harnesses [ I use "Marc's Snowshoe Harness" ] and you will have snowshoes for any type of winter snow conditions. I bought three new pairs to share with others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price Purchased these shoes to get through some pretty deep snow. Shoes looked like new, and the binders worked great. First time snowshoer, and these worked great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price, worth much more, great in fresh snow Bindings are a little tough to put on,but the snowshoes work great in fresh snow, they can be awkward on a narrow trail like a foot path, but are great for breaking trail. I like the new style snowshoes for heavily crusted snow, and these for fresh snow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best deal on any shoe shoe I just got back from a 3 mile round trip on an Adirondack trail.I just received these snow shoes, rigged the binding ( The instructions are out to lunch but they are official Military, so...) and spent the day up and down a snow covered trail. Like gliding along. I've walked the same trail in deep snow and these were on top of it all the way. perfect. did the trip in half the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Great Bought them for my Husband, He loves them.Had to watch a U Tube video to install the bindings , by Joan Roco. There was a learning curve the first time using Snow Shoes but all is good

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional without the frills The two pairs I received were like new. Included instructions were useless, take 10 minutes and go on youtube for detailed instructions on attaching the bindings. Bindings are geared towards packs or GI Mickey mouse boots, but can be modified for smaller boots. Rock solid construction. They worked well for me in powder and unpacked melting snow. They seemed to have better flotation than more modern snowshoes I own. I have no regrets, especially at this price. You probably won't either. Wish I purchased them when they were first offered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some bygod snowshoes The weather broke soon after these arrived and before I tried themout but--solid, substantial, worth the money. The bindings are a puzzle at first, but there's utube videos on how to fasten them. (Or even how to make your own from a truck tube.) So then, these snowshoes may be a decoration till next "winta," but meantime they're very Jack London. (You can't go wrong.)
