Not sure if it is the scope or the mounts but the scope was sitting too low to even pull the hammer back. I am blaming it on the scope so I am giving the mounts a 4 rating.

The muzzleloader by itself seems like it is worth the price. Do not bother with the scope. The one they give you is not the one in the picture or on the video. It is too fat and if you match it up with how it is on the picture you will notice that you can not pull back the hammer and the scope is almost hitting the barrel with the scope that they give you. See other comments from others who have purchase component 152137.

Rifle looks good and shoots great. I had to purchase taller scope mounts to keep from removing rear sight and keep hammer from striking scope but other than that, great buy
