American Coin Treasures® 1943 Lincoln Steel Penny 5 - Pc. Collection.

Issued for just one year at the height of WWII, the 1943 Lincoln Steel Penny freed up precious copper for America's war effort. Made from low-grade carbon steel, each Lincoln cent was electrolytically coated with zinc to prevent rusting.

You'll own five of these one-of-a-kind coins in this handsome collection, including one penny from the Philadelphia mint (without mint mark), one each from Denver and San Francisco (each with mint mark), and two views of the wheat reverse. All are mounted under clear polymer in a rich black wood frame, certificate of authenticity included. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of history!

1 Troy-lb. Bag of Wheat Pennies is a collectors' treat that's LOADED with valuable potential!

A wonderful way to start or add to a collection! The Lincoln Wheat Penny, also known by collectors as the Wheat Cent, has been out of issue for more than half a century. First minted in 1909 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, the Lincoln Wheat Penny features a portrait of Lincoln by sculptor Victor D. Brenner on one side, with the legenday "wheat ears" design on the reverse side. It was the first circulating U.S. coin to feature a real person instead of Lady Liberty.

  • All coins are dated between 1909 and 1958
  • Wide variety of dates and mint marks
  • No specific dates or mint marks are guaranteed, but the bag may contain sought-after dates and mint marks. Each bag is different... order several for a greater selection!

  • Weighs 13.4 ozs (one Troy pound).

A must-have for collectors!

American Coin TreasuresTM Turn of the Centuries Penny Collection. All pennies aren't created equal.

Over the past 100 years the penny has changed quite dramatically. And this Penny Collection displays just that. It shows the stark differences between the front and back sides of the Indian head penny and the current Lincoln penny. Set includes 3 Indian head pennies minted in 1899, 1900 and 1901; and 3 Lincoln pennies minted in 1999, 2000 and 2001. On the reverse side is a Certificate of Authenticity. Decorative 4 x 5" h. board protects all coins.

A penny saved is a penny earned.
