The case came double boxed. There were no dented cans. I try the beef it tastes really good, no spices in it. You could make it into anything you wanted. For long term storage food it is excellent.

Some of the cans arrived pretty badly banged up and so far it is a pain to get them replaced (still trying to get the issue resolved). This is very sad considering this is meat for long term storage and any little dent in the can jeopardizes the safety of the food. I did open up one damaged can and I have to say I was very impressed with the taste of the beef right out of the can. I do not know how it will hold up in the long haul, but right now (fresh) it did not taste like "survival" food.
