Sniper Sentinel 12' Tripod is rated 4.3243 out of 5 by 111.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price and light weight Great stand for the money. It is light weight and took about 30 min to get together. Add a little cushion to the seat and your set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I hunt in various locations, mostly public hunting in MN where you cannot leave your tree stands overnight due to DNR regulations on public hunting lands. I purchased this last year and it sure beats the heck out of putting up a tree stand every time you go out! Get's you out of the view and over the trails nicely. I would recommend that the bungee cord used for the seat be installed as tight as you can get it. I'm 6' 2" and 240 lbs, keeping it loose will make for an uncomfortable time. Do it right and you can remain comfortable for hours! GREAT STAND!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK for the price This stand arrived on a Thursday and I had it in the field by the end of the day. I used it Friday evening the day before opening day to take some pictures and had deer all around me. Saturday morning I shot a nice 8 point from it, so it does work well as a stand to get you up in the air in places where you don't have a tree to put a lock-on, ladder, or climbing stand. That said, the seat is really lacking. The web seat is tensioned by a length of bungee cord that you need to pull as tight as possible - even at that setting if you have any weight on you the seat is going to sag and your bottom will be resting on the top of the bolt that secures and allows the seat to swivel. I've taken to bringing a padded stadium style seat with me and putting it on the web seat - that makes it serviceable for sitting in for any length of time. I'm 6'3" and 215 lbs - the proportions of the seat, foot rest, and shooting rail are probably better suited for someone in the 5' - 5'8" range and I may make some modifications to it in the off-season to make it more comfortable and functional. All that said, I'm satisfied with the product as a somewhat pack-able tripod that came at a very reasonable price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its just ok. I needed a tripod to hunt getting me above the small pines, It is an area out of the way of roads. So I bought this one. It had high reviews and everyone loved it. Not sure how often the people writting the reviews hunt, but they are way off.The pro's are its light weight and price is low.The cons are the ladder into the stand wobbles badly, even when I staked it into ground for support. The company should either weld the steps or use a regular ladder. The seat is very uncomfortable, it wobbles alot and the mesh flex seat is not tight. It has no bars under seat for support, so your entire body is supported by a bungee cord type seat which sags. It also moves and bunches up easily, and while sitting in it your butt is sitting on the metal support bolt below. The foot rest would be ok for someone under 5'6" and small feet. Someone taller with large feet will feel cramped with foot rest under them. It would be nice if they made seat more solid and expanded foot rest 12-16" out all the way around except at ladder. It is an ok tripod stand, not an all day hunting stand though as you get cramped in it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tripod stand I ordered this to complement another three tripod stands I was purchasing at the time from Sportsman's Guide, the "Pursuit". It turns out that other than the color and pattern on the seat, these two stands are virtually identical. It takes about two hours to assemble, and though the stand actually feels a little heavier than the 66 pounds described, it isn't really that much of a problem to move. I just wouldn't want to carry it too far. I actually built a rack for my truck which makes moving these from location to location, extremely easy. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality, and look forward to using it for several years. Here's a helpful hint: The canvas seat has a rubber band type of webbing support system, that is threaded through some loops on the bottom of the seat. You'll want to pull this rubber piece as tight as you possibly can, and weave it through twice. If you don't, the seat will sag somewhat, and you'll end up sitting directly on top of a bolt head. I also carry a seat cushion to the stand with me, for a little more comfort, as well as for extra insulation for below freezing temperatures. I ordered a second one of these, but as I noted that they are currently out of stock, you'll get the same stand if you order the "Pursuit". Thus far, I'm very satisfied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good price, quality a bit suspect. Although the box arrived in poor condition, all the parts were there. The product needs a few additions. I would recommend the company add lock washers to all bolts, and anchors for the legs. A camo draping would also be nice around the seat area. The bungee seat is very uncomfortable and I will be modifying the stand with a boat seat next year. I guess you get what you pay for, but this product could be very nice with a few minor additions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad deal works pretty good, seems that the seat mount could be a little better how it pivots and needs to have more cushion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be prepared to modify I have to say for the money it is not that bad. The big issue I had with the tripod was that I had to re-drill three holes. The seat assembly did not line up correctly with the main platform. It was off by about 1/4". I did not have the drill bit for this so I lined up the holes correctly and used a Dremel knock-off to bore the hole to the correct position. I would suggest spray painting this thing frequently or it will rust in no time at all. DO NOT attempt to climb without the seating fix I mentioned before. It was very wobbly when I attempted to sit in it and I got a bit of vertigo. I am a 6' 4" tall 250 lb guy and it holds me fine but this is not pepaws stand. I have to move it 50 to 75 yards at a time or I will start sweating. If you have someone to help you set it up that would be preferable. Enjoy and lets get some meat for the freezer y'all!
