Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a good stone. Even though case is plastic it is very sturdy and light. I tested it by honing a 4" sheath knife to razor-sharp in no time. Have not needed the coarse side yet. This is perfect for a backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an EXCELLENT knife sharping tool. The double sided "Diamond" impregnated blade has a "Fine" and "Corse" side. (Would be nice if the "Grit" has specified.) The "Sharping Tool" stores on the case that serves as a handle and is very secure for both handle and case. The "Stone is 3 7/8" X 1" and larger than other similar tools I have. This is the second one I have purchased. Its that GOOD!!!
