Pulsar N550 Digisight Night Vision Scope is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from NICE NIGHT VISION FOR THE VALUE I bought this scope going out on a limb, trusting that it had good ratings. I can see why people like it. The night vision is pretty good compared to others NV I've had and the black & white screen is nice (I'm use to the green screens$$). It does take some getting use to, but once you get it dialed in, it's pretty clear at night. The IR really helps in bringing night to day and I leave it on in most cases. It's more clear when it's on and certainly projects the clarity more. I found, this scope has lots of gadgets on both sides that may be hard to find when your trying to adjust it peeking through the scope, but once you get use to it, it's not bad. Not for a moving target. That's for sure! Overall, I was very happy with the quality and clarity of the NV and liked the warranty as well. It's very good at distance of 150 or so yards. Nice crisp view of things. It has a Weaver attachment mounted for an add-on IR. My scope had a note with the product that said that the USB had been taken out because they no longer support downloading cross hairs. Use good batteries and can be supplied DC. For the value, I found it one of the best NV I've had and can easily mount it on any gun. Came with carry case and was protected well upon delivery. Not an avid night hunter, but like to scope out deer and other animals at night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Term Evaluation I have had my N550 for more than two years. I love it! I am a professional hunter and trapper, so I use my N550 two or three times a week hunting feral hogs in south Florida. Be sure to read the manual on how to operate this unit. It takes a little while to get it "dialed in". While it works quite well "out of the box", it really shines when it is "dialed in". My N550 is mounted on a Remington 700 30-06 and has never lost zero even after hundreds of shots. In fact, you can hand your rifle to another hunter and the "zero" remains true no matter who shoots the rifle. The picture clarity is not as sharp as a regular rifle scope. However, you can easily pick out a rabbit at 100 yds. at night. In a fairly open environment with a half moon or more, I don't need to use the on board IR illuminator. In really dark situations the IR illuminator works very well out to 80 yds. Beyond that it gets a little fuzzy. Now for the negatives......the N550 eats batteries! I would go through 2 or 3 sets of batteries during a normal night hunt. Not to worry! I now use the 12 volt rechargeable portable power pack I got from SG. Charge it up. Plug it into the N550(the battery pack has the right plug) external power source socket and you are ready to go for at least two full nights of hunting. Just sling the battery pack over your shoulder. The power cord is plenty long enough for easy shooting. I have never had any problems with my N550.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pictures and videos online do not do it justice. I have used military Gen3 nvg's before and the quality of the image is just as good. I had an issue with the scope operating when I received it so I sent it back and once again the SG promptly swapped it out for another. Thank you!
