Reviews
Poulan Pro-grade 18 Chainsaw (Reconditioned) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warning. These chainsaws have an unlined aluminum bore. They do not last under moderate use. If you want a good chainsaw that lasts, spend a little more money and get one that has a chrome or iron sleeved bore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price. This is a quality product for a great price. Reconditioned to look and perform as new.Very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good The saw arrived and required assembly. The chain supplied was the wrong size. The customer service department sent a replacement chain that looks like it has seen it's last re-sharpening and will hardly cut anything.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money. I got this Poulon Pro 18in chainsaw less than 3 weeks ago to replace my Homelite Electric Chain Saw Model Number UT43103A. I have to say that my Homelite can run circles around this Poulon Pro. The Poulon Pro does not reach its full potential when it comes to horsepower. I purchased it to cut firewood (light duty) and it bogs down almost on everything I cut with the exception of 2 inch pieces of wood. The bar (although secured properly) wiggles constantly during use. The chain that was supplied is advertised as new, but I can not get a clean cut at all. (Yes, it is mounted properly) About the only good thing with this chainsaw is the idle and it's ease of starting. Do youself a favor and look for a different model as this one is definitely two thumbs down. I made a mistake and will most likely attempt a return on this less than steller power tool. My first and probably last experience with a Poulon power tool.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good, but needed carb adjustments. The carb was way out of whack. it would start fine, idle fine, but refused to run at high rpms, even after it warmed up. A little disappointed.
Date published: 2014-11-22
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Price Typical of EPA direction, both high and low speed carburetor settings were too lean for reasonable use, and it would not idle at all. I then found out that I had to take the saw to a dealer to adjust the carburetor (saw owner not allowed to adjust it). One dealer said the coil was bad. I took it to another dealer who is working on it now. I think I will like the saw it they can adjust it properly.
Date published: 2014-11-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor product. Hard to start, hard to keep running
Date published: 2014-05-21
Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far runs and cuts great
