Rated 5 out of 5 by from razor sharp this is a great knife for skinning and cutting meat. I gut deer with it also, You have to be very careful when working in the chest cavity when you cant see. The knife is a razor. As long as they make this knife and blades I will always have one. Hunted and fished all my life and yes I do know how to sharpen knives but the simplicity of this knife is great and it is in my pocket everywhere I go. This is a truly a razor sharp knife and I LOVE IT. PS I'm 69 years old and hunted, trapped, and fished almost 62 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential hunting knife Used this knife for the first time this past deer season and it performed remarkably. Worked great on skinning, de-boning and getting into hard-to-reach parts of the cavity. Easy to handle, sharp and great price. As a former professional butcher, I'd recommend adding this to your hunting gear

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great knife This is the second skinning knife I have purchased and they work great. You can still sharpen the blades with a sharpening steel to give it more distance. Be careful removing blades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's what the manufacturer advertises I usually don’t believe very much advertising hype (just show me the spec sheet), but this knife is everything the ads say it is. It’s a perfect blend of utility knife and pocket knife without the weight of either. The surgical blades lock in place securely, without the ‘wiggle’ of utility knife blades, and have much less flex than I expected. The case is purpose built and has an inner pocket for extra blades. It’s ambidextrous easy opening is a great plus; I’m left-handed. If the belt clip could be mounted on the opposite side of the handle it would be even better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeatable I've been hunting and paunching out critters for over 55 years, and have never been completely happy with whatever knife I've used. There has always been something wrong with some aspect of them. Not this one. Just to be clear: these are not butcher knives. They are hunting knives made for dressing out game, and they excel at the job. Lightweight, always razor sharp, handy, and easy to clean. The only caution I can add, is to be sure you DO NOT try to change the blade with your fingers: use your multi-tool or such. Even dull, they are sharp enough to mix your blood with the critter's blood. A bad outcome, especially if you don't have your first aid kit with you. I used a total of two blades to dress two moose and a deer, and the last blade, in it now, is still razor sharp. I probably would still be on the first blade, but I broke it trying to pry a moose leg joint apart. (Wrong use--I should have stuck to cutting the ligaments) If you're looking for a knife that always has a razor sharp blade and fits in tight places, this is it.
