Reviews
October Mountain Products Ozark Hunter 68 Longbow is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality bow for the cost Purchased this Ozark Long Bow as a gift, to a beginner archer. At first glance the bow is its well constructed but not highly finished. The string notches as well as arrow shelf have clear sanding marks and the overall finish is not great. But all of that has nothing to do with the performance. The bow strings well, and shoots well. Only used to a few times so far, so can speak to longevity. It is smooth on the draw and quiet on the release. I would recommend it to a beginner, or someone who wants a shooter that will never be a thing of beauty. The only comment I have that would be a complete negative is in the shipping container. The bow was shipped in a cardboard mailing tube, which arrived visually damaged and in poor condition. Fortunately for me, the bow was not damaged and the string which is separate in the tube was not lost. I would recommend you inspect the bow closely upon arrival if you purchase it.
