New U.S. Military Surplus 5x7' Wool Blanket, Olive Drab is rated 3.6667 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from not surplus thankfully ; Not the kind of (surplus) that we slept under during the cold war era !. from the fake stitched on flag to the fact that I could see thru it after one time in the wash on delicate . If you want surplus go to an Army/Navy store ,not a cheap import company that sells junk !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best deal in town warm and comfortable, U.S. logo tastefully stitched in. Great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not the same This is not what I was expecting, nothing at all like the blanket I was issued in Basic. Too much of a hassle to return it so will keep it regardless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My granddaughter, who hates wool, loves them! They aren't scratchy and they keep her warm and toasty in our Colorado winters!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I remember camping when I was a kid and these kept me toasty. Well, this one is of the same quality. Up in Maine when the snow is falling, this will be one of the first things I grab to stay warm

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay Blanket I seriously doubt this is a genuine U.S. Military wool blanket. However, if you are looking for a emergency blanket to keep in the car then this might fit the bill. Also, be aware, this blanket has a strong smell to it. Even after being washed it still had a strong smell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than others The blanket I got has an American flag patch sewn onto it... so it "must" be US Military surplus... right? Ha, ha! No other markings (like a "US" stamp). I really like the wool content in this one. Regardless of origin, this blanket feels way better than the other blankets with less wool. Compared side-by-side this feels comparable to Dad's surplus Army blanket. Good price too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not real thing I was hoping for a real U.S. military blanket. I've had the real thing before and the Swiss style are better quality. Usable? Yes, but a real disappointment.
