Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut it up and made mountain man coat... Careful layout of coat for the cross on hood and the other at the bottom of back... Red border for cuffs... Looks real cool, but is real warm....should buy another for matching leggings!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wrong color Looking at this blanket online was a different color, then I received it in the mail and it was considerably darker than online. I would have purchased it elsewhere. It is good quality but the color does not match the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good blankets, great value! Already had one blanket, these two make three. They are heavy, well sized and warm. Problem is getting rid of the unknown "oily" odor (preservative? insect proofing? god knows what?). First blanket, odor washed out easy. These two are harder, but it'll come out with airing. Just waiting for good weather to hang 'em on the line. Blankets are good for home or camp!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smelly - Returned Quality Made though Blanket has an intense smell that seems like a mixture of grease and mildew, grease being stronger. I washed it(3 times) even though it says dry clean using natural detergent, oxy clean, vinegar in various combos. I air dried it indoors. The smell was diminished but still there. I left it on the rail outdoors in the sun for several hours and--- I realized I was going way too far to keep this blanket ---The quality of the blanket craftsmanship and materials seems to be pretty good. It did shed some fuzz after the washes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Control not up to expected standards I ordered 3 of these blankets. One was fine. Two were from a different batch and had plastic/mylar woven into the fabric. The quality was not worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good blanket, good value! Had an "oily" smell when it arrived. Might have been moth proofing, or preservative, or??? Anyway, I popped it in the washer using cool water and Woolite, then the drier on low, and the smell is gone. Have used it at home and in the field. It does the job nicely. I'm going to order two more next month.
