Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small Certainly a good work jacket for fall/spring weather. Runs about a size or two too small. I bought an XXL. Really tight on me compared to other XXLs. I think it is a european thing though. I have shirts from France that are similiar.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2x too Small good looking jacket, looks good on my neighbor who IS A LARGE, ordered a 2x not sure what I got but way too small for $20 I skipped the hassle of return and gave it to my neighbor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Style & workmanship The military surplus items are always hit or miss for me, but this one is definitely right on the mark. Well-made garment with lots of pockets & real style to it. Not what I'd call a utility jacket because it looks too good. The only downside for me is it shows pet hair like crazy, so either pass on it if you have pets, or keep a lint roller handy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Fall Jacket This jacket does look very sharp. It does help a person look more European somehow. I do find some fraying and loose threads on the jacket that makes me think it's not top notch quality but it seems sturdy enough to last.Regarding how warm the jacket is... it's good for a cool day... if it's cold you'll need to layer. There are only buttons, no zippers. It doesn't feel like there is suppose to be another liner in the jacket. There is elastic in its own lining that hits at about your wrist that helps keep cold air from going up your arm but It doesn't feel nice putting it on over a bulky sweatshirt. For the price it's a pretty cool looking jacket that provides a bit more warmth and significantly more rain and wind protection than a jean jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pocketware at a great price For warm weather, this jacket is great--the chest pockets easily hold a smartphone and the side pockets take bigger cargo. Even has a flap inside which can close off the throat area for added protection and warmth. Only problem is that the 2XL size is a little smaller for an American than for a Frenchman.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good jacket, but civilian copy Jacket is close to the original one but differs in several respects, starting with the good points first:Positive: Material is nice and sturdy. Detailing close to original. Great color.Negative: Definitely not government surplus. Workmanship is so-so. This goes especially for stitching, buttonholes and bar-tacks. Pocket-zippers are rinky-dink civilian "Rose" brand, not a YKK or some other quality brand you'd expect in govt surplus. Buttons differ from French military. No name of actual manufacturer to be seen anywhere as it always is on french govt surplus.I choose to keep the jacket anyway because it looks great, is reasonably priced and will work fine in the fall weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value! Very well constructed and a great value. I should have bought a couple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As described. Really well made and brand new! Thicker material than I thought. XL was right on for size. Wish you could get it in O.D. green or CCE camo!
