Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I picked this jacket up about a month ago from SG & have used it extensively at the range and out on hikes. It's actually quite warm, waterproof, and windproof. Very well made. The only things that are a bit of a bummer about it are no interior pockets or side pockets & the European zipper. Last week I tried to order another one but they're out of size L. I'll keep checking back as I would really like to have a spare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent deal! Great price on a very versatile product. Not initially impressed with the thick tall collar until I find a top quality ,same material-type hood enclosed. Usually you find an inferior hood that rolls up...not here. It fit as a tall as others mentioned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jacket This is a heavy duty Goretex jacket. The material is thick and windproof. You can''t buy a decent Goretex jacket at a sporting goods store for this price. You can't buy a good ECWS jacket for the cost of this one ,for that matter. It is different from the US ECWS gear, though. First, it does not have a pencil pocket on the sleeve or pockets for your hands. In the Army they always told us to keep our hands out of our pockets (why do BDU's have 28 pockets, then?) and the Brits found a way to keep your hands out of your pockets! One neat thing is the upper pockets have an extra fold of Goretex to make them more waterproof. Nice touch. Also, there is one inside, zippered pocket access zipper as well so you can get to your pen and pencil without unzipping the jacket. The hook and loop fastener runs all the way up the rain fly of the coat, it won't pucker and open up letting wind and rain in. The zipper is heavy duty, too.The sleeves are nice and long. If you plan to layer, buy a size larger. I ordinarily wear an XL - tall and the XL fits me just right since I don't need to layer here. The camo pattern is great, too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Functionally Challenged Raincoat. No hand warmer pockets makes this jacket a poor purchase for a high price for a raincoat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not what I expected, but a nice jacket It's a new, well made outer layer that's more of a raincoat or wind layer. On further research, this is an RAF wet weather raincoat and outer layer. Fit of the XL size was right on, the jacket is a 118/112 UK size. Very noisy 'crispy' material, it would not be the best for quiet hunting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Deal on Brit Jacket I've only used it a little but so far, it is as advertised. Brand new, waterproof, Brit, Gore-tex jacket. Just like other Brit DPM jackets I've owned, the zipper pull is on the opposite side so it takes a bit of getting used to. Good jacket overall but my one complaint is that it doesn't have lower pockets. CCW holders will appreciate the zippered opening on the left side of chest that allows access to interior.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice outer shell Great fit - ordered XL, fits great on my 46L suit size - practically like a tall size, very roomy. Take note - this is just an outer shell, not lined or otherwise insulated - 100% polyester.
