Details & Specs

Convenient transport of fuel or water made simple at a bargain price!

Time-tested hauler emulates the classics during WWII. Seems original metal Jerry Cans were created by the Germans to keep fuel portable so their blitzkreig-style war machine could keep moving forward. Fact: the name Jerry Can refers to its German origin, "Jerry" being wartime slang for Germans. Each new military-inspired Jerry Can holds 20 liters (5 1/4 U.S. gal.) of fuel. Just what you need to keep equipment running such as your ATV, pickup, swampbuggy, chainsaw, mower... you name it. We cut a deal on a limited supply so you can save at a price lower than the PX at a military base!

Makes hauling a large supply of fuel or water easy and reliable.

These rugged, all-metal "cans" are used as fuel containers (paint red for gas), green for diesel fuel. Or they can carry potable water (leave as is) for troop hydration.

  • Tough stamped steel construction holds up to abuse
  • 3 handles make it easy to carry / maneuver
  • Rubber gasket and locking pin keeps lid securely closed
  • Breather tube allows for easy pouring, less spills
  • 20 liters means large volume from a single unit
  • Proven performance, based on the classic U.S. Jerry Can copied from the Germans.
Go with the flow. Recruit your new Jerry Can today for rapid deployment!

Military Style Jerry Can, 20 Liter is rated 4.308 out of 5 by 263.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost a five I bought 4 of these cans in September of 2014 with the intent of using them for long term fuel storage. After a year, I went to where they were stored and discovered that one of them had developed a very slow leak along the back seam and lost about 2 gallons of gas over the course of the year. The cans hadn't been abused in any way, in fact, they still look brand new. This was obviously a manufacturing defect. The cans don't come with any sort of warranty, but to their credit, after I explained the situation and emailed them pics, SG issued me a coupon that almost covered the cost of a new can. The other three cans had no issues, and the spouts I ordered fit tight and don't drip. I probably wouldn't strap one of these to the side of my Land Cruiser and go offroading with it, but for garage use or long term storage, they work a lot better than the plastic junk alternatives.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shipped on time and in good condition Product is in good condition. These are not your durable surplus storage cans you dad had that if fallen of the back of the truck you could count on them not getting destroyed. But they are good for the price in comparison.
Date published: 2015-09-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted to replace my plastic cans with Well built w/spouts. Easy to handle witout the spillage and awkwardness of the complicated nozzles on the plastic cans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As always SG has put out a great product.Shiped fast, good steel construction. If you been thinking of getting one of these SG has them at a Good price and Top grade product..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Who designed these ? Certinly not NATO. Stupid raised features in the spot that wont allow a gas nozzle to be placed into it. In order to fill, you have to angle the nozzle into the opening and fill at half speed in order not to slosh gas all over the place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased the first 5 gal. jerry can over a year ago. Will pleased , so I order 2 more 5 gal. can and a 21/2 gal. Thanks SG

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The spout is toooo small ! The American gas nozzle at the pump will not fit into this can!Rb

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy! Sportsmans Guide usually has great products but this one obviously slipped thru the cracks. I bought three of these and they all rusted. One blew out at the seam and another bulged and split in the middle of the side were there wasn't a seam, when the other 2 did not. They were a good price for jerry cans but this is one of those cases they you buy cheap and you get cheap product. Very disappointed.
