Reviews
U.S. Military-style 20L (5 1/4-gal.) Jerry Can, Olive Drab is rated 4.3557 out of 5 by 253.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the military ones. The ones we used in the military were always easy to use. The same goes for this one. Don’t forget to order the spout though. I’m now waiting on one of those. Works without it but not near as convenient. HOOAH!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Despite obvious defect, still the best option/value I ordered four of these, and not a single spout would lock on the neck - had to file spout ears EXTENSIVELY to make them fit. Funny than no other review mentions this freaky defect. Otherwise, compared to anything else available in the US (Russian-made cans, BTW, were defect-free. At least 30 years ago) so there is no choice - get a half-round file, and get to work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When I tried to use the spout I could see the ears that stick out to hold the lid in place start to bend and I wasn't even close to locked position. Now it cost me to send them back, not cool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value I saw this can in the Sportsman Guide catalog and having had military style jerry cans for years, I was anxious to see if this measured up to the military cans. Well, it almost does. The metal is thinner than a military can and the spout is a bit cumbersome. Once the optional spout is attached, it becomes more useable. In fact, I don't see how it could be sued without the optional spout (sold separately). The one think about the spout is that it does not have a means of closing it off on the end and thereby leaving it attached to the can...so, it has to be removed after each use since the can cannot be sealed. Otherwise, it seems a good can for the price. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well made This is the best way to store gas long term. The metal can will keep it fresher and keep it from going bad. I have three of them now, one I just purchased so I can take advantage of the lower gas prices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Fuel Can, Good Quality, and Value Very nice fuel can. This can will outlast all the plastic junk you buy at a discount store. Easy pour spot. Extremely durable! With a positive sealing cap. When the cap is closed, this can will not leak even when laying on its side. It is a great copy of the original WW- 2 Jerry Can. I own both the 5 Gallon and 2.5 Gallon versions of this fuel can. I love them both!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the jerry can seemto be of a good quality and thanks for the fast shiping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Remember you get what you pay for! Bought 4 for an "EXTENDED" hunting trip in the wild's of Northern Quebec. They hold fuel fine but then caused all sorts of damnage to the ATV's carburators. The paint "INSIDE" disolves/flakes off and then pours unseen into the fule tanks only to be sucked up into the carbarators 580 miles north of any repair facality or paved highway back to civalization. I will continue to utalize them as long as I "FILTER" the fuel comming out of the fill spout. "Annoying at best" and "Dismul at worst". A total of 3 day's down on a hunt of a lifetime.
