BioLogic® New Zealand Clover Plus Forage for white - tailed deer. The crops will return season after season. So will the Deer.

There's clover, and then there's genuine New Zealand Red and White Clover. BioLogic®'s Clover Plus is a blend of New Zealand red and white clovers and extremely successful varieties of chicory. It's a very attractive planting offering quality forage that produces through the hot months of summer. These clovers are very succulent and the huge leaves produce excellent nutritional forage for both white-tailed deer and turkeys. The chicories thrive in the heat of summer that stresses most other crops... and they're a favorite of whitetails.

How to Plant: This Blend is best planted by spreading the seed on a well-prepared seedbed at 9 lbs. per acre, and then using a cultipacker to cover the seed. Broadcasting the seed on a well-prepared seedbed just prior to a rain also produces an excellent stand as the rain serves to bury the seed the appropriate depth (1/ 4 ") and ensure there is adequate soil moisture for germination. Use 5 pounds per acre if broadcasting onto existing perennial stands.

When to Plant: In the south, Clover Plus can be planted anytime after mid August and as late as mid October, as long as adequate soil moisture is available. In northern climates such as New York and Michigan, it can be frost seeded or planted during the spring when adequate soil moisture is available. It may also be planted during the early fall in the northern zone when adequate soil moisture is available. Clover Plus should be planted 30 - 50 days before frost date, depending on available soil moisture.

Coverage Rates:
  • 2 1/ 4 lbs. = 1/ 4 acre
  • 9 lbs. = 1 acre
  • 27 lbs. = 3 acres.

Try BioLogic Clover Plus... its quality forage and high nutritional value will help you grow healthier, more productive animals. Once established, and with normal rainfall, you can expect growth for 3 to 5 years.
