Rated 3 out of 5 by from The pair I ordered for me was a size too small. I took the word of one of the reviews that the boots ran large. My mistake. I really needed a 10 size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even I have several doz name brand new shoes in my closet. This Swiss made boots top them all for quality construction. I cleaned it up, brushed it and plan to use it to do my daily morning walk to Griffith Observatory. The late Chinese leader Chairman Mao always had his new shoes break in by his soldiers before wearing them. I think he would be happy to have this pair of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used but not used up. A neat piece of history and a heck of a pair of alpine boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The boots are great and clean up very well. I bought six pair and am happy with them all. Use powder laundry detergent, a semi-stiff brush, and warm water to get rid of the black and bring out the beautiful dark brown of the leather. After they dry, give them a good layer of mink oil. When done, you will have a high quality, beautiful shoe for under $15. Don't forget to break them in before taking them out for a hike or hunt.
