Rated 5 out of 5 by from water proof snake boots I began to wear these boots the day they arrived. The fit was perfect. I am sometimes concerned about ordering footwear because of size fluctuations but these fit perfect. I was wearing them to break them in before using them in the field. They formed to my feet very quickly and are very comfortable to wear. Compared to other snake boots I have looked at these are a real deal. Same features and benefits as others but at less price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Snake Boots purchase My husband is planning a hike in the mountains of S.W. Texas next month. I knew he wanted a pair of snake boots and I guessed that a month's time should be enough time to break the boots in. I purchased these boots from SMG, as they were advertised with free shipping. Once the boots finally arrived, they looked and fit great and my husband has been wearing them at every opportunity to break them in as he has less than two weeks left to break them in. Am I satisfied with the boots? Yes. As for the shipping time? Pay for shipping thru UPS or FedEx ship the Postal Service connection when you can.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good deal for the price The only bad thing is you have to untie them and unzip them to get them off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot at a fair price! I bought these for my grandson and he loves the boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ultimate in style and functionality The ultimate in style and functionality, and remarkably lightweight. Buy a less durable and utile version from Dubarry for $400-$600, if you like. But I like SPG’s lifetime warranty on their Guide Gear and HQ lines, increasingly definitive in every way, including price. These zip-up, snake-proof wellies are just the thing for traversing and inspecting the grounds of my estate, known better to the masses as planet earth.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good price ,not really staisfied with the boots Bought these boots in June of 2014, getting ready for deer season in Sept.... With the untimely death of my sister in August, I didn't get to wear these boots till gun season..... I have worn them four times and the eyelets are breaking off.... Highly dissatisfied with the boots, if the eyelets are going to continue to break, It's a good boot for the money but needs to have better and stronger eyelets also.. I would still recommend this to others. Only if Guide Gear would put stronger eyelets on the boots.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Price Pros: Comfortable, Breathable at a good price. Bought them back in March 2014. Broke them in for the first month. Then put them away for deer season this year. (Starts in Sept)Cons: Now it's November and the left sole is coming apart and it's not water proof anymore. I thought the water would have come in from were the sole was coming apart but that's not the case. The water started coming in the boot in about ankle deep water.Remarks: Had high hopes for these boots after reading the reviews but in the end I was let down by the product. Boots didn't even make it through one deer season with out failing.
