Reviews
MacCoupler E-Z Propane Filler is rated 4.7222 out of 5 by 108.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work great on old time tanks without OPD, or on 100 lb cylinders I have several of these and been using them for years. They were fantastic before the law changed on 20 lb tanks to require overflow protection devices. I saved my old style filled tanks after I discovered that the tanks don't come close to filling with the OPD tanks. The overflow protection protects against a high degree of pressure outflow. They will work great on 100 pound tanks which don't have OPD. I shopped for 30, 40, an 60 pound tanks to get non OPD and can't get them. I used to know a fellow who had a source who would fill old style tanks, no more. These will give you about 1/3 to 1/2 the run time of a fresh filled tank in my experience. Close to half if you leave little tan for a full 12 hours or more in freezer. I may buy a 100 pound just to fill these, as I do a lot of outdoor propane cooking in the woods and canoe trips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saving it for a one of those days. I don't have any empty cylinders yet so can't test it. I read about this in an article and was glad to find it at SG.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought a brass fitting to refill propane canisters from larger one. Does not seem to put much in the canister. Waiting to see how long the fuel will burn.
