LTMD M1860 Army Issue Revolver Replica. A Civil War history lesson with firepower!

During the Civil War, the Union Army purchased almost 130,000 pieces of the M1860 percussion revolver, making it the most-used revolver in the conflict.

Enterprising Confederate armories were quick to appropriate the design and produce the piece for Southern troops. The gun was a .44 caliber, six shot, front-loader that took linen or paper cartridges. This non-firing replica has the handling characteristics of the original, with functional lock and loading mechanisms.

LMTD 1873 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle Replica. "The gun that won the West."

Famous for its rugged construction and lever-action breech mechanism that allowed the rifleman to fire a number of shots before having to reload: hence the term, "repeating rifle". The first model, the Model 1866, was nicknamed Yellow Boy because of its brass receiver.

The Model 73 was much more popular than the 66 because of the steel frame which allowed it to take the newly designed and more potent centerfire .44 caliber cartridge. The 1873, meanwhile, is often referred to as The Gun That Won The West.

During its production run, from 1873 to 1919, about 720,000 pieces were made in the Connecticut factory. Its tubular magazine was located underneath the barrel.

This non-firing version clearly demonstrates the workings of the lever-action loading system and is great for costumes or collections! Barrel Length: 18 7/ 8 ". Overall Length: 39". Weight: 5lb 15 ozs.

LMTD Italian Triple Barrel Flintlock Pistol Replica. This history lesson is packing heat!

Flintlock pistols were so called because the lock uses a flint to strike sparks into the priming pan when the trigger is pulled. A small amount of gunpowder in this pan is ignited, which in turn ignites the main gunpowder charge in the barrel, firing the lead ball.

Both the main charge and the ball were loaded from the front, or muzzle, of the barrel, after which the priming charge was poured into the pan ? all very time consuming! Often the priming charge would burn but fail to ignite the main charge, hence the expression flash in the pan!

The original of this particular flintlock pistol was made by Lorenzi in Italy in about 1680 and the engraved coat of arms is that of the famous Medici family. This non-firing version is accurately detailed - a great costume or conversation piece. Overall Length: 11 1/ 8 " Weight: 1lb 12oz Barrel Length: 5 1⁄ 2 ".
