Details & Specs

Built exclusively for Sportsman's GuideTM for reliability you can trust, just like our troops do.

You can go all the way back to Vietnam for when Leatherwood Scopes first started seeing action. In fact, they are still used today by our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now that should say something about the ruggedness and reliability of these Scopes, and this one is no different. For all that outdoor shooting you love to do, this Scope is not only made from durable 1-piece construction, but it's also shockproof.

And while you're out there, you can shoot confidently knowing you have nitrogen-purged fogproof protection as well as waterproofing against the elements... just want you want in rainy, misty or muggy conditions. And the fast-focus eyepiece will help you gain sight of your reticle and target quickly, so you can be ready to take that accurate shot. All of this, at a price that won't break the bank, offered exclusively through The Sportsman's Guide!

Durability beyond your imagination.

How durable? Try shockproof enough to withstand 1,200 Gs. Considering an astronaut or fighter pilot withstands about a handful of Gs, this scope is plenty-tough to handle shot after shot of recoil as well as any bumps and thumps you may encounter in the field.

  • Fully multi-coated optics for crisp clarity of your trophy or target
  • Waterproof reliability for performance in inclement weather
  • Nitrogen-purged for fogproof protection
  • Shockproof tested to 1,200 Gs to safely withstand recoil
  • Hand-adjustable turrets can be reset to zero after sighting in
  • Super-precise 1/4" MOA for windage and elevation
  • Easy-access side focus
  • F.O.V. @ 100 yds is 24.1' at 4X, 6.3' at 16X
  • 3" eye relief, exit pupil range is 8mm-6mm
  • Buy rings separately
  • 1" diam. tube is 13 3/4"l., weighs 23 ozs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent scope for the low $$ ! Mounted this Leatherwood Hi-lux 4-16 X 44 rifle scope on my Ruger Mk II .22 and had it sighted in within 4 shots, and it held zero for over 200 rounds!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leatherwood 3-16x44 Was put on a .22 LR Browning model SA-22. Extremely clear, easy to adjust focus and sight. I've only used it to 40 yards. Not a test of ruggedness. At least now I can see out to 100 yards, will try it at 100. Bought it to help vision.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope for the price; clear, super adjustments and paralax control. I have used these scopes since first introduced on my custom 10/22 rifles without a hitch. I also have one on my .300 Win Mag and it has stood up to that pounding. For the money the Leatherwood scopes are the best buy out there right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deal!! Mounted on an Remington 700 AAC. Magnification allows me to see those pesky 600 yard steel targets clearly. Hits are consistent and dead on. The quality and accuracy of this product are superb!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reat Price Mounted my Leatherman 4X16 scope on my Savage 110 .243 and it shoots fantastic groups all within moa, with the loads it likes. It has very clear glass for an inexpensive scope, and so far seems to hold zero really well.
