Jaguar 175-lb. Crossbow Package is rated 4.6795 out of 5 by 156.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised The crossbow was easy to assemble, easy to align the red dot...just a simple, effective crossbow. It's not fancy, but it works. It's a great crossbow to start with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interesting... I FINALLY got the chance to try the crossbow with an archery target today.Let me start by saying that the people who complained about the difficulty putting it together or the string wearing out probably shouldn't be using a crossbow. I put it together in about 15 minutes... and I put about 100 bolts downrange today, having NO problems with the string. That being said, I DO have a few minor suggestions. The aluminum bolts that come with the kit should be put aside or used as an art project and replaced with 20" carbon fiber bolts (also available from Sportsmansguide.com) They are MUCH more durable and more accurate.Next, the Allen screw that holds the bow in place on the stock should be checked and re-tightened about every 15 or 20 bolts, or held in place with Loctite thread locker or similar product (It says DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN). Mine came loose after about 60 or 70 bolts and I would have fired if I hadn't noticed the little plastic piece falling out. This MAY be common knowledge to crossbow shooters... but this is my first one, so I thought I would pass that tidbit along.Lastly, invest in an archery target (or use a piece of rolled up carpet) because when these bolts hit solid wood (whether on purpose or by accident) they don't like to come back out.I bought this as a toy for myself... my right shoulder is damaged and I can no longer draw a long bow, but I still enjoy shooting sports. It's a GREAT starter crossbow and I could see it being used to take down small to medium game animals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great price The crossbow was great. It shoots well and the rest of the package was fine, except the red dot scope is too inaccurate and I had to take it off.
