Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, but also a great value for the price. As a liciensed amature radio operator I can appreciate the convience of having both a weather radio plus the Short Wave bands to keep up with what's going on during foul weather or other emergencies. Thank You!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from HQ Issue / HQ-500 radio This is a nice little radio but would be a lot better if it came with a 6 volt a/c adaptor so you could fully charge the battery pack for the 6 hour initial charge that is recommended. Note: that the charger should be 6 volts or less with a positive (+) center on plug or you will damage the radio.
