- HQ ISSUE Camp Stove is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 43.Rated 5 out of 5 by uncaoy from Great price. I use it indoors in my den (man cave).Works great!!!!!Date published: 2016-12-30Rated 4 out of 5 by Bert from Great Price ! Quick Shipping ! The HQ Issue Woodstove did have an issue. The hinge pin for the door was bent.Creating a gap at the top of the door when closed against the body of the stove.Hopefully, I can use a piece of wood and hammer to tap it straight. So the door will work properly when closed.Other then that it looks good so far.Date published: 2016-12-21Rated 3 out of 5 by Paulie from It's OK Not enough space for a lot of wood to be burned. Put some rebar across bottom to give air space underneath logs, but fills up too quickly to allow wood to burn cleanly. Perhaps would work better using charcoal?Date published: 2016-12-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Pete from Great price & quality !!! Wen I us it I'm sure it will be nice and toasty !Date published: 2016-11-12Rated 1 out of 5 by Marz Q from Camp Stove Blues. Having heated my house for more than 30 yrs with wood, I was curious to see if the "Camp stove " could heat my smaller deer shack/trailer/camp.( I have a wall mounted propane unit for heat now) As soon as I opened the box I knew something was odd. The exhaust pipe is so tiny that I didn't think it could draw enough air and, after several test fires(outside to burn off the paint and oils) my suspicions were right- it just doesn't have the diameter to properly draw enough air. Every time you open the door to feed the fire you get smoked out. I even had some exhaust pipe bent to go out the window of my shack (cost almost as much as the stove).I need something to tinker with so, I'm going to experiment -maybe I'll try cutting a draft hole below the door, that might increase the draw.Date published: 2016-11-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Benny from Unit popped together with no problems. I use it to heat a tarped off pavilion on occasion. Keeps the chill out. nice unit for the price.Date published: 2016-11-08Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike7 from Great Stove I assembled the stove upon arrival. Easy to assemble and no negatives. I purchased to camping and fishing trips, as well as snow trekking. Heavier than the normal trekking stove, but I'm happy with, because I plan on using it during camping and fishing trips.I fueled it up with some hickory, it started well, and the stove became hot and usable in a very short time. Thanks for making availableDate published: 2016-11-02Rated 4 out of 5 by Littlehawk from I have had several opportunities to use this product and I found that it works quite well . A couple of things that I noticed to be an issue were that the handle got quite warm and the venting could be better . I simply made a wooden handle and leave the door cracked open , problem's solved .Date published: 2016-10-31
