Guide Gear Teepee Tent 18x18' is rated 4.2375 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware the Rain I set this tent up a day after I received it, and i was super impressed with the ease of set up. I ran in to the first issue with the tent that night, it rained and rained and rained some more. The tent did not hold out the rain around the two doors, I ended up with puddles at both entrances. During the dry weather of the 9 days this was set up, it was a beautiful addition to our experience. For the price to value it is we worth your time and money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet the tent is very roomy. but it is not designed to be used in the rain. the seams leak. the doors leak badly, you can watch it run in from the zipper/Velcro door seams. I would not recommend this tent unless you were putting it up under a tarp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this tent! This is the second time I have purchased this tent - the first one I owned was given to a friend. This is my favorite tent of all time - very easy to put up and take down, plenty of room, and good for both summer and winter camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love this Tent!!! I've had this tent now for mor than two years. I've taken it camping to the cold winters of Wisconsin, to the windy and powerful thunder storms of South Dakota, to the every now and then rainy days of Northern California. At the end of the day this tent was still standing. When I first received the tent I added waterproofing spray, didn't want to chance it. I've never had water in the tents, it worked great. I also added sealant to the seems. It keeps in the warmth when it's cold with a small heater, and dry when it's pouring. Fast to set up, my 8 year old son sets it up in about 20 min. Unfortunately I have to get another one cause my dog ripped a hole in one of the doors. But other than that I really enjoy this tent. So I strongly recommend this tent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from might be good in the desert This tent has some cool plastic windows on the sides unfortunately every one of them leaks. The double doors front and back are great, except they are angled towards the tent so they catch the water and the outer "waterproof " rain flap does not have a zipper at the bottom so all of the water can flow into the tent. Luckily the floor is very waterproof and will catch and retain this water so if you are in the desert you will have plenty to drink. The basics of setting up were easy until you try to spread the guide lines. You either have to set up in an octagon of trees or bring some more poles to run the lines over so you can actually pull the sides of the tent out to try to get the rain to run off the tent instead of in it. You will certainly need extra rope.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tents and Rain The GuideGear tent with a 18 foot diameter is a tent that I could erect in an hour by myself. It has great space and height. The tent is not waterproof. The doors leak. After 26 "events" [putting the tent up and taking it down] I have put the tent into the trash heap. The Zippers on the doors are very poor quality and fail soon after use. This could be a great tent - if it was waterproof and had rugged Zippers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Tent Ever I have used these TP tents for the past two summers including the smaller 10 X 10. The big one is for me and GF and the smaller is for my daughter and dog. I camp a lot, up to 15 times a summer. I have used - worn out a lot of other expensive tents. For the record I hate those fiberglass cord poles and will never buy another tent which uses it. This is genius in design. One single heavy duty pole and stakes. I stake down the perimeter put up the pole stake down the guy strings and 15 min I'm done. This thing is Huge inside. I use two full size cots table etc.. I was caught in heavy rain memorial day and the tent did is job. Its some type of gortex and will never leak. Very strong and cool inside on a hot day with the side windows open. Just remember to close the windows before it rains !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from everyone loves the t p In extreme conditions it does leak around the doors, because there is no zipper at the bottom off the rain flaps. Otherwise seems to be well thought out and good tent.
