Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this for backyard camping instead of using my canvas tent. It was set up for about six weeks when we had strong winds one day. We had gusts of wind blowing N to S at 35mph and the tent was behind a six foot fence. The tent seam on the bottom ripped out on the south side which was facing away from the wind. All doors and vents were closed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Setup We set up the Teepee Tent 18x18' just a few days after its arrival. We set it up on our lawn and found it set up very easily the first time less than 15 minutes it was up. I though that was good for the first time from box to all stakes in place. One thing I wish they would have done is put another Button (lack of proper word) on the inside of the tent door/screen door. The ob long button that goes into the tie is in the middle of the screen door/door, therefore you can not tie both door and screen door open together.I would give it a 4 star out of 5!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from better than i expected the tent was bigger and better than we expected. I know that it says 18x18 but you really can't comprehend how big it will be. Very easy to set up, so much better than a normal tent that has several poles and you have to figure out there they go and read directions. This tent very simple the pole goes in the middle. Not very hard to figure out. Very spacious and there is room for everyone. We did have three small holes. One on the side of the tent and two on the floor of the tent. Nothing tent patches won't fix. I wish that they included them in with the tent. We were able to find them no problem. all in all very happy with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Field Tested in Eastern Sierras Just returned from an Eastern Sierra fishing trip with my buddies and tested the 10-feet high by 18-feet diameter tent right out of the box. We loved the spaciousness and the height. Four big-guys can each sleep comfortably on their twin-size air mattresses with standing room to spare. We would replace the metal tooth-picks, which they call stakes, with something more substantial: If windy, they will come-out from the ground. Also, the flood is very thin. Make sure the footprint is free of rocks, and you have sturdy duct-tape. We would not recommend chairs inside the tent even with rubber-protected, hard-points. (When I was sitting on a three-point chair to put my shoes on, three-holes developed.) Also, it was a good thing that we had some parachute cord because a couple of guide-lines were missing. Our group just missed the July snow in the Sierras, so we cannot rate how well this would hold-up in precipitation, but the idea from other reviewers of weather-proofing the tent with say Scotchguard is a good one. When setting-up the tent, make sure you have your protected-knee pads because there are allot of stakes to hammer down. Take-down was very easy. Overall, it is a good buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, So good Purchased July of 2015. Needed to replace existing tent. Thought this would be an interesting design and possibly easy set up. Set up on the property for about a week to check out and change anything I wanted to before putting in use for good.Tent is easy to set up. what takes the longest is staking down all the guy lines. Tent it self goes up quickly, with just one breakdown center pole, i staked down the floor first though. I would recommend replacing all the existing stakes with better quality, plastic stakes or something similar. The other thing i wondered about was how it would do in rain, It rained the first night I had it up and the dummy I am forgot to close the outer shell of both doors (just had the mesh zipped) enough water got in that you wouldnt want to leave open even in just a little sprinkle. few minutes with a sponge and and towel and it was gone. I dont think any of the water inside came from anywhere except the open doors. didnt see any evidence of leaking on any part of the tent shell itself. still i decided just as added protection (no rainfly comes with the tent, its supposed to be waterproof) to scotch guard the entire outside of the tent. and made a rainfly myself from a new 10X20' tarp. I cut a 4" hole in the center of tarp, reinforced the edge of center cut hole to prevent ripping and tearing, because that is what i slip over the point of the teepee and then stretch out and attach the 4 corners of the tarp to whatever for the rainfly, it also gives you a little porch at both doors if you orientate it in that direction. Inside there is alot of room, both floor area and head room, you can walk around upright in there. Having just played around and practiced with it im looking foward to actually using it. think it will be a fun tent. I had it in my mind that this tent may be built alittle sturder than your typical tent because of the design charactistics, but that wasnt the case, I think the way its built you could expect it to last what any other tent would last, its not bomb proof by any means, but adequate. I would have like to see the actual tent shell (the green part) a little heaver material, thats kinda what I expected. Final answer at this point, I think it was a good purchase. Let you know more after wife and I actually use it up on the chatattogga river
