Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a "carry in the field" stool Happy with it, but wanted to make it clear that this thing is HEAVY. 4 lbs. 11 oz without the carrying sleeve. Would not recommend carrying it for any long distances with your other gear. Stool looks great, functions fine. No squeaks, but it's NOT noiseless when it rotates. When not is use, the adj legs flop around and make noise too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat this seat for the money This stool has done exactly what I needed it for. It's swivels without noise and changes height. Yes it's a little clumsy to carry, but plan ahead and it's only $13. Super deal from Guide Gear. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional Product design and manufacturing appear quite good. Functionally should meet my needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good low price This looks like it is well made, I bought it to use while predator hunting, however it is a little too heavy (because of the swivel hub) it will be better used in a deer blind on flat ground. I'm planning to use it that way this fall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal and great for the hunt Was VERY PLEASED with the action, the adjustable height, and seams well built, can't wait to use in my blind

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way Too Heavy This product used to be made out of aluminum. I purchased two of these thinking that they would be the same, lightweight design. I was highly disappointed when I received them and found them to be made of steel and extremely heavy. They may now by more durable, but they are far too heavy to add to my hunting pack when walking miles through marshy land. I wish they would go back to the aluminum design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Noisy setup and heavy, but good swivel chair. It does seem that it's heavier than needed--the legs are rather sturdy steel, but at 4 to 5 pounds it's not a deal breaker for backpacking. It's bulkier than I was expecting but packable. The bag is shockingly noisy but not nearly as concerning as the noise when setting the chair up. When setting it up, the legs rattle like a poorly made antler rattle. (Who knows, maybe that will draw in a buck) TIP: Don't use the bag and instead strap the legs together with some elastic cord--it can be set up quietly by holding the legs.Since I prefer a low chair when bow hunting from the ground, I may end up taking off 2 of the adjustable leg sections to help with weight and make it quiet, leaving the 3rd leg for adjustments on a slope. The stool feels sturdy, comfortable, and swivels very well and silently. For the price, I feel it's an excellent value for my arsenal.
