Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product and a Great Price These are great. They work as described. i bought two one for me and one for my wife. That way I can still hear her when she is telling me what I am doing wrong, but when it gets really loud they cut the noise.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good amplification / not so good protection The sound amplification works great, but the hearing protection does not do a good job with anything louder than a .22. These ear muffs offer little protection when using shotguns or rifle caliber cartridges. The price was just too good to pass up and I got what I paid for. Next time I will spend a bit more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as nice as I thought Just in putting them on you can tell the ear wells are not deep enough nor are they wide enough to work. I have small ears but the cushions don't even touch the side of my head leaving an open space AND the ear well is so narrow (measured at 1.5 inches) they sit on top of my ear. Shame, because they appear otherwise very well built.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have for Shooters I bought a pair of these for my son last summer. He raved and raved about them so I tried his. Now I have my own pair. They work great. Both my son and I have significant hearing loss, so it is not only saving what we have but also helping utilize what we have to the best advantage. Not only do we use them at the range, but upland game and duck hunting too!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The hearing protection I received was a defective product, where the electronic circuit technology did not filter shooting noise. After a day of shooting my hearing in my right ear did not return to normal hearing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I purchased the Guide Gear version of this product several years back and was very happy with the product. The new version however has changed the ear pieces from oval to rectangular and they do not fit nearly as well. I might have to purchase another pair of something else in addition to these. I am somewhat disappointed that this is not the same product that I really liked and was a great value for the price.
