Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have not had the opportunity to use it yet but it seems to be good if it works like it is supposed to. We will see.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Not Attenuate Gunshot--Ear Ringing Resulted These earmuffs did not block out the sound of a .308 rifle shot. I had ear ringing as a result. They do block out some of the noise but not enough. I have been wearing ear muffs for years while shooting, so I know a good pair from a bad one. This one did not work. I will keep it for use with my power saw in my shop--it's no good for shooting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good I wish I never bought them. They don't fit tight on your ears. SG want $6.50 to return them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Price, very poor execution So I picked up two of these when they were on sale for 16$ each. That's kind of a steal for electronic earmuffs. I figure, why not? Well when I tested them out on the range, it's then when I discovered that cheaper is not always better. The earmuffs are supposed to be rated at 24 NRR. I have some other 24 NRR earmuffs (non-electronic), and let me say that this does NOT feel like 24 NRR. I would say it's more about 18-19 NRR -- and that's only when it works. That's the ultimate problem with these earmuffs. The design of the metal latches is poor. There's not enough tension to get a good solid fit on your head, the muffs keep slipping or sliding off, or worse yet, it creates gaps between your ears and the muffs, allowing sounds to slip in. Let me say, after wearing this for about 10 minutes, my ears were still ringing because of the sound that seeped in during a shooting session. I had to double up with my backup earplugs. The electronic portion works as well as it can for a low-end electronic earmuff. It's method is "shutting off" the electronic portion whenever a loud sound is detected. Not great, but passible, and you can still have some conversations with other people at the range, but expect the fading in/fading out of sound during fire sessions. However, given the design flaw of this earmuff -- it can't hold firmly on your head, and it allows sound to seep in, I cannot recommend this product at any price. Sent back for a return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ear protection I just received these and haven't had a chance to use them yet, but I have heard very good things about them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from unhappy these ear protectors have insufficient expansion and do not press firmly against my head so as I am yet to try them at the range I expect them to not be much use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible product the muffs are not worth the price of shipping and I got free shipping .they are flimsy and do not seal well at all .the electronics seem to work fine .
