Guide Gear Stereo Hearing Protection Earmuffs is rated 4.3591 out of 5 by 596.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I already knew what I was buying-- a good friend had them already. Nonetheless, still a terrific product, and well worth the money. In fact, most of the people I know who have these have paid a whole lot more than I did here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good idea, just doesn't work They seem to function as described (electronically) but the ear cups are square instead of oval so they don't seal out the noise. Weak headband springs do nothing to hold headset securely against your ears. Disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Sorry to tell you guys, You all got what you paid for...... Tested ten of this particular model for a local Aviation Company that wanted to make a large purchase for the floor technicians. These are GARBAGE. Only three of the ten tested barely passed the sound testing requirements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Price. They performed super.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I returned them because I couldn't get them open to turn them on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have not had the opportunity to use it yet but it seems to be good if it works like it is supposed to. We will see.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Not Attenuate Gunshot--Ear Ringing Resulted These earmuffs did not block out the sound of a .308 rifle shot. I had ear ringing as a result. They do block out some of the noise but not enough. I have been wearing ear muffs for years while shooting, so I know a good pair from a bad one. This one did not work. I will keep it for use with my power saw in my shop--it's no good for shooting.

Hyskore® Stereo Electronic Hearing Protector. Use at the range or in noisy work environments! SAVE!

Hearing loss can happen at 85 dB. And gun reports, construction zones or constantly working around heavy machinery can have levels WAY above that. That's why these ear muffs shut down instantly when decibel levels exceed 85.

When sound levels are lower, they operate normally, allowing you to hear even a regular conversation. So you protect your hearing while still listening to the range instructor's commands or your foreman telling you what a fine job you're doing.

Covered:

  • Protects hearing above 85 dB
  • Independent volume controls, each ear hears individually
  • Comfortable padded ear cushions and headband
  • Solid state circuitry
  • LED indicator light
  • Requires 2 AA batteries (not included)
  • 200-hour battery life
  • Belt clip included
  • 12 ozs., with batteries.

Hearing loss is no laughing matter!

Pro Ears® Predator Gold Hearing Protection and Amplification Ear Muffs. Comfortable all day wear with low - profile cups and lightweight fit for extended hunting. Includes sound jack for music players and motor sports scanners... get high - fidelity sound and hearing protection in one!

With a NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of 26 and the fastest "attack time" in the industry at 1.5 milliseconds, Predator Gold Ear Muffs provide maximum protection indoors, outdoors, on the hunt or on race day.

So, what exactly is "attack time"? It's the time between the unit receiving a noise level spike and the time it takes to react to and compress the sound level to a safe level. That lighting fast attack time is combined with an outstanding recovery time, which is the time it takes to resume normal monitoring after the high sound level subsides to a safe level.

With Pro Ears, the attack and recovery time are accomplished without clipping or turning off the system so you hear all the sounds, only at a safe level with excellent clarity. Predator Gold's lightweight and slim profile cups make it suitable for youth shooters, too!

But there's much more to tell:
  • Apple iPod, CD, motor sports scanner or radio compatible using a 3.5 mm mini jack. Enjoy high fidelity sound while protecting your hearing
  • Ultra-comfy Pro Form™ Leather ear cushions won't sweat or crack
  • Low profile, low-weight, contoured cup can be comfortably used with all firearms
  • Exclusive DLSC™ (Dynamic Level Sound Compression) protects you from hearing damaging noise spikes while at the same time, bringing other lower decibel sounds up
  • On-board 8-bit microprocessor ensures the unit is running right every time
  • Auto shut-off feature makes sure you have power when you need it
  • 9.3 ozs. Made in the USA!
